Prime Edge’s Automatic Ticketing solution is a boon to passengers and vehicle operators. Controlled by a robust central server, the module is fed into the management software with relevant information provided by the operator in terms of locations, timing, trips, routes, fares etc. The pre-loaded data enables retrieval of information from the server to provide better services. The services can be rendered by the way of a smart card. The smart card will be loaded with money and eliminates the usage of cash for ticketing purpose.

How does it work?
The two readers (as shown in the image) is connected by a GPS bus announcer which collects the longitude and latitude data of each bus stops in advance. When the bus arrive at the stop, the GPS stop announcer will automatically identify and announce the station name in the PA device. This also helps to remind the passengers to alight at the right station without missing it. The GPS bus announcer can communicate to the card reader in terms of passenger boarding and alighting point, which aids in deduction of accurate fare.
